DUTIES:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the wedding, social event, and day group coordination.

Be the main point of contact at Mission Inn for couples during their wedding/event planning process

Act as menu consultant for all food and beverage selections

Create detailed banquet event orders in delphi for all weddings and events you are assigned to

Create an estimate of charges which outline the financial commitment to the venue for all weddings and events

Create detailed floor plans in room viewer

Coordinate room blocks with the Sales team

Oversee all wedding/event space (ceremony, cocktail and reception) setup on wedding/event day

Create and maintain outstanding relationships with clients throughout the planning process

Skills required: excellent verbal and written communication, outstanding organizational skills, follow-up, time management and documentation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be comfortable coordinating weddings, social events and day groups.

H.S. Graduate or equivalent. Bachelors or associates degree strongly preferred. Rosen School Hospitality School graduate a plus.

2-3 years of experience in wedding event coordination experience.  Minimum 1 year experience with degree.

Must be able to self-motivate and multi-task with a strong customer service focus

Develop a rapport and maintain excellent working relationships with key departments, all staff members and vendors

Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays included

Preferred knowledge of Delphi, Outlook and other office software
